Kelly Langdon, USPTA

Kelly Langdon has 27 years of professional experience in tennis instruction at both public and private clubs and has also spent the last 15 years as the Head Coach at Marcus High. Coach Langdon’s accomplishments as an instructor have been the result of his year round dedication to tennis, which qualifies him to assist others to enjoy the game and reach their goals.
During his 27 years of professional tennis teaching, Coach Langdon has taught men, women, and children of all ages and skill levels. Coach Langdon has taught hundreds of state ranked players, along with nationally ranked player from the US and Mexico. Along with his extensive background in high-level junior tennis, he has always made a point to work with beginning level players. Coach Langdon believes it is extremely important to work with players at the grassroots level, supporting the USTA in its efforts to promote QUICKSTART tennis.

Kelly Langdon’s versatility as a tennis professional, director & coach has allowed him to teach/coordinate in many areas of tennis; Public facilities, private clubs, universities, high schools, and corporations. Along with his position as Head Coach of Marcus, Coach Langdon enjoys overseeing the TNT Tennis programs at The Hurst Tennis Center, City of Grapevine, City of Colleyville, City of Lewisville, Marcus High School and the City of Roanoke.


John Schildt

John Schildt has 27 years experience of teaching and coaching tennis. Coach Schildt is entering his 9th year as the Marcus High School assistant tennis coach. His experience coaching and participating encompasses a wide range of sports from power lifting, track and field to tennis. His tennis coaching experience prior to Marcus High School has been at Bowie High School (2 years), El Paso High School (3), Newman Smith (1), McKinney High School (10) where he also spent 2 years as the strength and condition coordinator. Other experience includes certified personal trainer at Gold’s Gym and L.A. Fitness. Outside of his duties at Marcus, Coach Schildt teaches, adults and juniors at Lewisville, Grapevine, & The Hurst Tennis Center.

John Schildt graduated from Central Islip Senior High School in Central Islip New York in 1974 and received an AA from Suffolk County Community College in 1976 and a BSE from Cortland State University in New York in 1978.
